George M. Pearce, 84, of Huntley passed away July 6, 2026. George was born in Chicago Illinois on March 8, 1942, to parents Howard and Marion (Netter) Pearce. George married the love of his life, Diane Paslow on December 17, 1966. George was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He retired from United Parcel Service, where he was a union feeder driver. George enjoyed family game nights, playing cards, camping and spending time at the riverboat casino or Las Vegas. He especially enjoyed family vacations to destinations like Hawaii, Florida, or a cruise. George and his family have many memories spent at their lake house in the Fox Lake area.
George is survived by his children, Craig (Amanda) Pearce and Lisa King; grandchildren, Valerie King and Jack Pearce; sister, Helen Burkhart; sister-in-law Kathy Scala; and many nieces and nephews.
George is preceded in death by his loving wife Diane Pearce and his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, with a service at 1:00pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, 60142.
