Olga Wrobel, 84, of Algonquin, passed away peacefully in October 2025. Born on January 1, 1941, in Poland, she married the love of her life, Stefan Wrobel, in 1962 before building a life rooted in love, tradition, and family.
Olga was a simple, devoted woman whose greatest joy came from caring for her family. She was happiest when surrounded by loved ones at Sunday meals, which she lovingly prepared as a weekly tradition. Her green thumb was evident in her love for gardening, and her nurturing spirit extended to all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Stefan Wrobel; her children, Michael (Diane) Wrobel, Myla Puff, and Stan (Celina) Wrobel; her cherished grandchildren, Tommy, Michelle, Jessica, Steven, and Alana; and her adored great-grandchildren, Emerson and Audrey. Olga was preceded in death by her brother, Adam.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.
Olga’s quiet strength, loving heart, and commitment to family will be remembered always.
